$60 for 60 Years of MDYC

​Dear Friends,
 
Celebrating 60 Years of Impact with the Metropolitan Detroit Youth Chorus
 
As we enter our 60th concert season, the members of the 2024-2025 Metropolitan
Detroit Youth Chorus are working hard—learning music, building bonds, and preparing
to make their lasting impact. Through their music and signing, they carry forward the
legacy of MDYC by serving Christ through songs of praise.
 
Many of you reading this have your own story of how MDYC has had an impact in your
life. Perhaps you were one of the thousands of members lifting your voice in praise with
songs like Going Home. Or maybe you're part of our extended family—supporting us
from the audience, encouraging us through prayer, or traveling alongside us. Over these
six decades, MDYC has built a "Forever Family" of people united by music and faith.
Whether performing in congregations around Metro Detroit or halfway across the
country on our spring tours, one thing is constant: the impact of this chorus reaches far
and wide.
 
As we enter this milestone season, we're coming to our MDYC "Forever Family" with a
simple request, to help us keep our costs down and ensure anyone is able to be a part of
this family. In honor of our 60 years of ministry through music, we’re asking our alumni,
families, friends, and supporters to prayerfully consider donating $60 on Giving Tuesday
(December 3rd), a day dedicated to generosity and support. Your gift will help the chorus
continue to inspire and uplift for the next 60 years.
 
If you’re able and inspired to give beyond $60 or contribute at any time outside of Giving
Tuesday, please know that your generosity means the world to us and makes a lasting difference.
